Law Research at the University of Western Australia

The University of Western Australia is one of Australia's leading research universities and the premier research institution in Western Australia.  The Faculy of Law has a long tradition of providing high quality legal education and undertaking progressive, high impact research.

Research Centres

Individual researchers have additional expertise across all important fields of contemporary private and public law.

With a wealth of specialist expertise, and a willingness to listen to the needs of government and industry, members of the Faculty already have strong relationships with a range of government bodies, peak industry groups and key private sector players.  The Faculty is keen to develop these existing partnerships and to explore new collaborations with all levels of government and the private sector.  Industry contributions to a project may be eligible for the R&D Tax Concession.  For more information on grants and funding sources contact Dr Andy Sierakowski afs@admin.uwa.edu.au at UWA's Office of Industry and Innovation 6488 7048.
